After the CCM client is installed on a computer SCCM will change the computer's status to "Client: Yes" in Assets and Compliance.
Does SCCM ever evaluate if the CCM client is installed?
I don't mean the Client Activity check if the client is inactive or not every (default?) 7 days, I mean does SCCM ever check if CCM is still there, installed on the hard drive, or not?
We have an issue where if we have a server with the client installed, and we reinstall the server, SCCM never seem to register that CCM isn't installed anymore. After the server fails to report in after 7 days the server gets labeled "Inactive", but SCCM doesn't appear to try installing the client again.
