we are usingFrontRange DSMto install and Manage our clients. The solution supports Netbooting the Clients to a custom PE image and installing them fully unattended, you can create a Software Catalog the users can install on their own (without needing Admin rights) etc.
Quite nice to work with.
But we are having some problems using that software: The driver management works rather poor. And as we have a WSUS running on our network the clients will try to pull drivers from there. Our WSUS is not sharing drivers for obvious reasons.
Now some clients just do not have the proper video drivers installed for instance. But they are not searching for new drivers anymore, because they settled on some default drivers.
Is there a (free?) software, which supports (forcing) driver updating from a share on the network? It would be great if that also...
