Is it common place among your workplace to have different OS's on workstations? Is there a benefit to having windows 7, windows 8, windows xp, and soon possibly windows 10 throughout the office space? How about different versions of programs excel 2003, 2010, 2013 is this an IT nightmare or your everyday life? The differences are minor sure, but how important is it to have consistency in the workplace? Is it cost justified to upgrade to a standard? Is it more important for workstations or servers or totally unimportant?
