Hi all! So, we are changing from using RIS (which I'm finding is waaay easier) to using WDS. We had XP builds and we are finally moving to Windows 7. I am still on Server 2003 but I have MDT 2012 and WAIK. I finally figured out how to create a reference computer, sysprep, capture the image, and deploy it. I even created an unattended file and put it on my pre-sysprepped machine in order to keep the driver information. At some point I would like to use MDT workbench and all its task sequence functionality...but for now I have a volume license question that I can't seem to find the answer to.
Can I add the volume license key to an answer file and "attach" it to an already captured image, OR do I have to recreate the reference computer with the media I get with my volume license, OR....
Im not quite sure how to handle this licensing...RIS was so easy! Just add the key to the sif file within the image folder and be done!
