Trying to update our currently installed version of Adobe Reader 11.0.03 to 11.0.06 and running into issues. 11.0.03 was successfully deployed from an AIP using an GPO and installed on all of our client workstations. I checked and I have the correct versions of both the base file and the new MSP (MUI).
I created a new base AIP from my original 11.0 file and then successfully patched it up to 11.0.06. However, when I try to test it out to do the actual install on a workstation I get the following error: "Another version of this product is already installed".
I looked at the Enterprise Admin Guide (section 8.2) and do not see any approved upgrade path from 11.0 to 11.0.06. I only can find documentation to go from 11.0 to 11.0.03.
I would really not want to have to uninstall 11.0.03 from about 150 workstations and reinstall 11.0.06.
Any suggestions?
