I am successfully deploying images via MDT, but my reference images are VM's and do not have Aero running. I'm trying to figure out an automated way to enable Aero after deployment. I've seen numerous examples of "you need to run winsat.exe ..." but I can turn ON Aero, but the only way I can tell I can turn it on is to choose an existing Aero theme, which eliminates my custom background that is in my default profile. For some odd reason when I change the theme manually, it also overwrites my OEM background setting which I set on my image, so I don't want to do it that way.
I've also looked at doing something through the unattend.xml to enable a custom default theme, but apparently the setting that would do that, CustomDefaultThemeFile, is deprecated. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
