Or what is the latest technology being used to create customized images and deploy them whether via network, usb sticks/dvd's for remote sites, etc. Currently using WDS Server 2008R2 but looking at upgrading to MDT 2010 or mdt 2013. Is it worth the extra work? Our need is to install multiple applications in audit mode during the image build (fat) and then capture and create one final GOLD image. Right now creating a thin image and using GPO's to load all the needed software Java, Reader, Shockwave, Flash, etc.
Also, how does this Office Customizer product work? I just saw it on one of these pages (can't remember the specific page) but it reminded me of the IEAK.
