Hi everyone!
Looking for some insight here as we're currently looking to streamline our software deployment throughout our environment. I've been researching this for quite some time and tested it with unexpected results.
First things first: we have 63 installs of Adobe Reader X, ranging from 10.1.0 to 10.1.6 & 12 installs of Adobe Reader XI, with versions between 11.0.0.1 to 11.0.0.2. We've usually gone about doing the updates manually or whenever we got to it but we'd really like to get all the Reader software on the same level.
I've read the instructions here and everything seems to work out pretty smoothly with regards to extracting, customizing, and installing. The problem I'm seeing is since the majority of our users are on 10, the deployed software does not remove the previous version of Reader. I have double checked this...
