Imagex use... Anyone goof up like I did?

So I'm using imagex.exe to capture and apply a Windows 7 Professional 32-bit image for use later... After several hours working on it, playing around making sure I'm not goofing up, I captured the .wim file successfully to my flash drive, then wanting to apply it, thinking that was the next step before I could deploy it, I moved the .wim to my hard drive, then applied it to my flash drive...

After it apparently took several hours to do so, I started wondering if I had done the right thing. Apparently I missed something in the reading material that I saw laid out for me in plain "For Dummies" mannerisms on good old youtube.com, and realized when I ran the /apply option, I took my .wim file and installed the OS on my flash drive... not where I wanted it, but by now, you know where I'm going with my embarrassment...

Please tell me I'm not...
