I work for a mid sized non-profit organization with multiple locations. I'm looking for an easy to use software deployment solution that would auto update software packages on the server (eg: Java,Flash) at each location then notify me via email or something that new versions are available to deploy so I can give the go ahead. Also one that can do rolling, or stagger deployments to not hog bandwidth. OS deployment would be awesome too, but not something I'm particurlarly looking for at this time.
I know PDQ maintains a library of packages, which I like, but I don't think it has the ability to auto download new packages and notify. I may be mistaken though. Also, I don't think you can stagger deployments.
Does anyone know of similar products like this that they prefer? The most hands free the better.
