We are trying to come up with a solution to display images stored on a network share up on a TV screen. I thought it was going to be easy. I fired up Windows7, set my screensaver to slide show, pointed it to the shared folder and let it rip. It worked great.
But, we want to go into that folder and add/remove pictures on a regular basis. The screensaver seems to index what is there when it first launches and ignores any added photos. So i tried adding a windows task to restart the .SCR file every 5 minutes hoping to re-index the folder. That did not work, it still only displays the pictures from the original start.
Is there some type of software that can do what i need to do? I tried slideshow optino in infranview portable but that has the same problem. You have to reload the files when you want the images to update.
