I have been slowly deploying System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2. What a head spin.
Anyhoo, I am in the process of setting up the automatic deployment of definition updates for Endpoint Protection.
I've been following the instructions here but when I get to actually running an update sync (selecting Auto Deployment Rule and 'run now'), I keep getting the following two errors:
Failed to download the update from internet. Error = 5 SMS_RULE_ENGINE 30/07/2014 1:10:58 PM 5180 (0x143C)
Failed to download ContentID xxxxxxx for UpdateID 16795285. Error code = 5 SMS_RULE_ENGINE 30/07/2014 1:10:58 PM 5180 (0x143C)
I've checked the permissions for the proxy server and adjusted the permissions for the destination folder/share as most of my research points to this.
